As a patient-focused practice, First Dayton Cancer Care wants to provide an overview of the billing process. In order to provide you with the best care and treatment, we must secure proper payment from your insurance carrier or you. Co-pays and deductibles are due and payable at the time of your service. We will gladly set up a payment plan should that be an option that you would like to use. For your convenience, we also accept Visa and MasterCard payments. Your statement will reflect a payment to First Dayton Radiation Oncology.
Billing for the treatments you receive is a very complex process. First Dayton Cancer Care’s billing company, Maxx Medical, Inc., are experts in Radiation Oncology billing. You will not receive a billing statement until your insurance has processed your claim. There is a balance that is due and payable by you. Billing is performed weekly so that your claims are processed in a timely manner.
Upon receipt of your statement, you will notice that charges are incurred even though you were not actually at First Dayton. These services are necessary for your treatment as a preparation and/or confirmation of your radiation calculations.
First Dayton Cancer Care is considered a free-standing Radiation Oncology facility. Charges are billed as office services.
Maxx Medical, Inc. will assist you in determining your network status. Our phone number is 937-438-9500.
This is a partial list of some of the larger insurance companies that we bill on your behalf to pay for your medical care. Please contact your individual policy holder to make certain that First Dayton Cancer Care is in your preferred network of providers.
